Tried and tested…

When contacted by a customer in the automotive manufacturing industry who were experiencing an issue leading to production delays, we had the solution to their problem.  

The client who manufactures vehicle windscreens, use a series of tanks onsite for coating various components. The coating used in these tanks would then stick to the tanks which led to production delays as the tanks needed to be thoroughly cleaned to remove the residue coating. This process was both labour intensive and costly.  

In order to run some production line trials, the client provided us with a set of newly manufactured test tanks which were coated with our PR270LB 3 Coat Release Coating System by spray application.  

These tanks were then installed into the clients’ production line to test the non-stick capabilities with great success. The coating used in the tanks no longer stuck to the tank sides after use and were quick and easy to clean down saving them time and labour on production.  

Following the success of this trial, the customer will be replacing their existing tanks with ones coated in our PR270LB to completely overhaul the production line.
