Refurbishment & Recoating

In an ideal world, coatings would last forever, however items do get damaged on the production line and coatings can deteriorate over time.

At Product Release, we believe in sustainability and have developed a process for restoring used bakeware to extend its lifetime.   

The process: 

1. Items are inspected for the suitability for refurbishment. 
2. The old coating and food residue is carbonised in a pyrolysis process. 
3. The residue is removed and the substrate is prepared by a grit blast process to provide a key for the new coating.
4. Any required repairs are carried out including welding, straightening and  reblocking.  
5. The new PR system™ coating is applied and cured as specified.  
6. The items are thoroughly quality inspected, before being packaged and dispatched back to the customer.
