Ceramic Coatings

Ceramics are the latest generation release coatings based on “SOL GEL” technology. Whereas, both fluoropolymers and silicones are by nature “soft”, ceramics are much harder. Typical properties are:

• Superb non-stick (longevity in between silicones and fluoropolymers)
• Excellent abrasion resistance and durability
• High temperature resistance – In use temperature up to 285°C, continuous use
• All coatings applied are on the FDA positive list for use in food contact applications, Regulation 21 CFR 177.1550 and 21 CFR 177.2440. They also comply with “the materials and articles intended to come into contact with food regulations (EC 1935/2004)”
