The Manchester based client who specialise in the manufacture of rollers and shafts, were looking for a suitable coating for a textile drying roller they had produced. They required a non-stick coating to allow the textiles to flow easily and efficiently along the production drying line. Additionally, wear resistance was specified to prolong the coating lifespan as the roller would be subjected to high frequency production runs.

On receipt of the roller from the customer, the surface was degreased to ensure there were no residues present before coating application.

The roller was then coated with our PR245W Two Coat System by spray application. This specific coating was chosen as it delivers both the wear resistance and non-stick capabilities that the client required.

Thanks to our dedicated team, we were able to return the coated roller back to the customer within a rapid turnaround time, much to their satisfaction.
