As has been the case for the past 8 years, we’re delighted to announce that Product Release has once again passed the ISO 9001:2015 audit, which highlights our ability to provide our customers with a first class service from start to finish. You can find out more about what the ISO 9001:2015 award relates to, as well as what it means for our customers, in our post following last year’s successful audit.
Combined with our recent ISO 9001:2015 audit, we also have further news about our steps towards obtaining ISO 14001, which we previously posted about our intention to go for back in October. ISO 14001 is based on the requirements needed for a company to meet the standards of a suitable environmental management system.
The first steps towards obtaining ISO 14001 have involved us putting together a documented system about what the company does, as well as reviewing exactly what is needed in order for us to reduce our carbon footprint. At the moment Product Release’s carbon footprint is very high due to the large amount of energy that is currently used during our processes.
With assistance from Liverpool John Moores University, we’re going to be focusing on getting everything in place to allow us to go for our stage 1 audit in October and, following that, will focus on achieving stage 2 in early 2020.
Both of these pieces of news highlight that Product Release are constantly focusing on ensuring that our processes and services are carried out in the best way, not only for our customers and employees, but also from an environmental aspect.
