Product Release mix it up…

Recently we were contacted by a company who were encountering challenges with the chemical mixing tanks they were using. The nature of the problem was attack of the tanks stainless steel substrate by the chemicals, which lead to corrosion and eventual irreparable damage. They required a solution and Product Release were on hand to help. 

As these stainless steel mixing tanks are made to measure and very expensive to replace, such premature failure due to corrosion was not an option! 

Based on the requirements of the project, we selected our custom PR245 Green fluorinated ethylene propylene coating as it provides a smooth, non-porous film with excellent abrasion resistance and superior chemical resistance. 

Fluorinated coatings like PR245 are also chemically inert, meaning the client did not need to worry about the final manufactured product having any contamination from the tank coating. 

Additionally, thanks to its scratch and wear resistance, the lifespan of the coating is enhanced so replacement of the tanks would be reduced.  

On return of the coating mixing tank, the client was very pleased with the multiple benefits that our coating solution provides.
