Blooming brilliant!

When approached by a new customer looking for a custom manufactured bloomer mould strap, we knew we could meet their needs.  

They were originally buying the straps from a competitor of ours, but their lead times had increased to 9 months, which was unsuitable for the client.  

Each strap would consist of three 800g bloomer moulds. The customer required them to be made from aluminium as it is lighter than steel and easier for their production operatives to handle. In addition to this, the client specified that the batch of straps be consistent and of superior quality to ensure a perfect bloomer with every bake.  

Using the latest CAD software the design was configured before moving onto the manufacturing stage. Each component of the straps was fabricated and assembled ready for welding together in a purpose-built jigging system. Due to our in-house tooling capabilities, we could achieve the high-level quality and consistency that the client desired.  

Once produced, the straps were coated with our PR455S Silicone Resin Coating System by spray application. This coating was selected as it provides excellent release properties.  

Once delivered to the customer, they were delighted with the quality of the straps and pleased with the turnaround time for the order.
