A need for speed…

We were recently approached by a leading UK bakery as some of their food contact equipment was in desperate need of refurbishment within a strict timescale.  

To minimise production disruption, the client required the work to be completed during their planned shutdown period of just 36 hours.  

They had previously been promised such a service by other suppliers who had let them down, so were concerned whether it could be achieved. Here at Product Release, we go above and beyond for our customers and this project was no exception.  

The client had several items to be refurbished including hoppers, a 360 turnover and a chute. On delivery of the items to our Liverpool site, they were subjected to our pyrolysis oven process to remove the existing coating and any food residues remaining on the substrate. They were then shot blasted and sprayed with our PR235W HB 5 Coat System.  

We chose this system as it provides both superior non-stick capabilities and excellent wear resistance.  

The items were returned to the customers’ production site within the required timeframe.  

The client was so pleased with the speed and quality of finish delivered that they have subsequently requested a meeting to discuss additional project opportunities.
